Breathing is the gateway to the nervous system
We have to appreciate the value and power of respiration and how it changes our posture
and movement, we apply these concepts into exercises that can effectively change our
posture and the ability to manage gravity. Having access to neutrality is the key to
minimizing pain and maximizing function, a neutral pelvis, and rib cage.
Here is a sample exercise for you to improve your breathing and the alignment of your rib
cage and pelvis. *Good for your posture*

Supine cross-connects
Outcomes:
– Decrease the arch of your lower back
– Strengthen hamstring and glutes
– Open up the back ribs and lose up upper back muscles
– Better Rib cage and pelvis relationship
1. One leg digs down into the roam roller (sense inner heel and arch)
2. Inhale reach opposite elbow and knee together, exhale to feel your side abs engaging
4. 5 breath each set for 2-3 sets each leg
